WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

The focus of this conference is to share measurement knowledge between meter manufacturers and end users on topics including metering technologies, flow measurement research, industry standards, government regulations, and diagnostic tools. Since 2001, this annual event has served as a forum for end users to discuss problems and find solutions to measurement issues specific to the oil & gas industries. While many presentations relate specifically to ultrasonic and Coriolis meters, a wide variety of meter types are discussed. Topics that will be covered will include:
  • Bunkering, a Metrological Nightmare
  • Liquid Measurement Systems Design
  • Integrating and trending USM, Coriolis, Flow Computer, and Chromatograph diagnostics to identify measurement problems
  • Conditioner plates
  • Advances in Electronic Crude Oil Ticketing
  • Bad Measurement-How to Pour Money Down the Drain
  • Sampler Certification by the Water Injection Method
  • The importance of calibrating at service conditions; temperature, pressure, viscosity and Reynolds number effects
  • Master Meter Proving with Helical Blade Turbine Meter
  • The Need for Density Compensation in Water Cut Monitoring
  • Hydrocarbon MEASUREMENT MANAGEMENT – THE MISSING LINK?
  • Analytically Accurate® Sample Conditioning System for Use in Rich or Wet Gas
  • Why Calibrate Your Orifice Meters
  • Compressible Fluid Calibrations Reduce Coriolis Meter Uncertainty
  • Achieving Better Fluid Measurement using a Different Perspective
  • Economics of Compositional and Quality Determination
  • A New Deployment of AGA 6
  • Aligning EPA Regulations and Measurement needs in Typical Hydrocarbon Measurement and Processing Applications
  • Diagnostic Effects of Chordal and Reflective Path Meter Combinations
  • Natural Gas Liquid Measurement-Direct & Inferred Mass
  • Experiences with complete skid calibration with ultrasonic flow meters
  • Dynamic measurement of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)
  • The Application Range of Clamp-on Meters
  • Continuing expansion of clamp-on applications in both Liquid and Gas
